Second Home in the City?

I came across condos in Houston called The Ivy Lofts. The condos start at just over 300 square feet, which to me screams “crash pad” in the city. It’s also perfect for the person that wants to have their cake and eat it too. Why not buy a spacious house in a more affordable area miles away and stay a few nights a week near work? Enjoy the beach property full-time and convert the city to a part-time work/vacation home.
